Wil Jacques, MBA, Connects and Advises Start-Ups Needing Technical Acumen, Marketing Expertise

With more than 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales, strategic marketing, and technology licensing, Jacques combines the big-picture perspective, technical know-how and business sense that young companies need to prosper.
As an agent of the patent and technology owner, Jacques provides patented technology valuation, market due diligence, business opportunity identification, and licensing negotiations with third parties. He is equally at home with government, industrial, or private sector organizations and clients.
Jacques’ specialties include strategic marketing development, personnel and project management, invention disclosure management, patent and technology analysis, and technology commercialization planning and implementation.
Jacques also consults with universities and intellectual property marketing firms on strategies for monetizing their patent assets. Representative transactions include the licensing of biotechnology and organic solar cell technologies for Florida A&M University, electrical transformer technology for University of Hartford, and wireless audio and electronic display technologies for Competitive Technologies.

Jacques retains relationships with clients as consultant and board member in the environmental, manufacturing, and market research arena. He is civic minded, contributing to numerous local and national organizations. An avid golfer, he is co-founder of the Skins & Pins golf affinity and charity group in Connecticut.
