From nuclear sub operator to Motorola engineer to entrepreneur: Steve Pearson forged his way and now helps others innovate
(AUSTIN) — Austinite Steve Pearson announced the launch of The Pearson Strategy Group, LLC, building on the success of his former firm, Visionex Solutions, LLC.
The new group specializes in competitive intelligence, innovation support, and strategic development, serving clients from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups. Active in the local and international marketplace, Pearson Strategy Group primarily serves the electrical, mechanical, energy, construction, and transportation industries and Intellectual Property Law firms.
“In the corporate world, I saw companies struggling with disruptive technology,” said Pearson, whose diverse background includes work as an analyst, a process control engineer, and a nuclear reactor operator aboard a U.S. Navy submarine.
“I realized that my technical and research expertise could accelerate R&D and even reveal previously unknown competitors or patents that could block innovation. I want to help companies succeed.”
Legal teams often seek Pearson’s services, an unexpected – but welcome – result of the firm’s niche knowledge of intellectual property research.
“We are frequently told by IP attorneys that we’ve discovered publications they were unable to uncover on their own. In addition to years of experience, we use specialized patent research tools to search many of the world’s patent offices simultaneously. For any attorney, time is money, and we save both.”
Media members are encouraged not only to try these services but also to call on Pearson’s Consultants for background and interpretation.
