Branding, marketing and design expert Tuck Kamin has more than 30 years of advertising success, shaping the perception of brands and products.
Kamin is the Chief Strategist and Creative Director of Potential Being where true product brands are revealed in a process Kamin calls “transformational branding.”
“Just another advertising or social media campaign that reflects the needs of the market does not work anymore. Success comes when the company embraces their brand with sustained passion and continually finds new ways their brand is a necessity. Enthusiasm must transform into a mirrored passion, otherwise it is just another flavor of the month awaiting the next campaign idea, which will suffer the same demise,” Kamin explains.
Some of Kamin’s most exciting ideas are about aging. Not only does he see an invigorating shift for individuals, but he understands the emerging market that an aging society opens. In Kamin’s recent book Design Your Age, he debunks outdated ideas about age and introduces fresh approaches to creating better later years.

Collaborating with the nonprofit Oldways.org to create, write and produce the film “A Taste of Africa” opened Tuck Kamin’s eyes about helping others.
“I was fortunate to work with over 30 black women who live in Austin and who appeared in the film. I learned about the unique cultural food traditions of African-Americans. I was honored to be part of this project. It awakened my understanding of how food is truly medicine in all cultures.”
